wis & epc READ datacard autorization correct configuration - northstarlight - 04-24-2023
hello. i am new to this. i am learning.
I am having trouble activating datacard read permissions on wis and epc.
i did the trick the first time in
c: program files (x86)/ewa/config/wis_cfg.xml and i was able to access datacard from wis, but when i restarted my pc i lost access again.
and in epc I have not find out yet what file or where to configure.
Can anyone help me?

im using xentry passthru 03.2023, wis 10.2022 and epc 11.2018
at the moment wis show datacard grey when vin is inserted and epc show the car (doesnt show grey) but say no autorization.

Your problem is not that modification since EPC should show the data sheet without it.

ok, I just restored my system to an earlier point, just freshly installed wis and epc.
wis works fine, it does open the data card when I enter the vin but epc still says I don't have permission.
is it already ok like this or should I give permission for epc? and how is done?
i have tried even changing the key but i can never remove the blocked datacard tick in the ewa net settings at permissions group for server admin

If I haven't misunderstood, your problem is the key, give me your lan-id and I'll give you one that unlocks the datacard.

this key you gave me, can i use it several times? i would like to test to generate my own keys
p.s. im doing backups so yes i can test,
difficult to find key generator without trojans. they are not false positive. they are real trojans.
i dont like playing in sand boxes but thats the tip for it
