2021 Tiguan Remote Start thru ODIS - Fatalslink - 12-31-2023
Hey all,
I'm trying to install a factory remote start on my 2021 Tiguan SE. I installed everything and was entering the SWAP codes and following along with the steps, but it keeps asking me for a dealer username and password...is this in impossible DIY install or is there a workaround for the online bit? Thanks!

You need online access, without that its not gonna work

I had the SWAP codes installed online. Now the problem is that it is a 2021 tig and you have to use the extended range kit. When I go to the OBD section of ODIS to adapt rf transmitter via barcode and type in the hex key and pass key of the remote and hit start, it gives me this message "usds basic settings terminated for safety reasons" and won't copy the keys to the remote start system.
