2015 Mercedes C300 ECU drive authorization disabled NEED HELP!!! - Tschooley80 - 03-23-2024
I have a 2015 Mercedes c300 and had some engine work done. The ECU and battery were removed and the vehicle sat for some time. When everything was reinstalled and back to getting ready to start the engine will not start. It does not even attempt to start. The engine does not turn over and the starter does not engage. I scanned the vehicle and the ECU says that the drive authorization is disabled. All the other modules look ok. The key, ezs, tcu, etc... everything looks fine. The only module that looks to be having an issue is the ECU. I'm stuck and I don't know what to do at this point. I have the ability to read and write this ECU but not sure how to fix this issue. If someone can give me some sound advice or help I would greatly appreciate it. Have a great day and God bless.
