ESP/ABS Low voltage solenoid - Efadil22 - 06-14-2026 Hi, I'm having an issue with my 2015 w176 a180d. A couple days ago I had an ABS/ESP light come on but the car was still driving fine. I plugged in xentry and noticed the voltage to the solenoid valves was below the expected amount and fluctuating slightly. Today I drove it somewhere, and once I got back in to the car I couldn't put it in D/R/N, it was stuck in park and was telling me to put my foot on the brake to switch it into gear, but i already was. I checked the voltage to solenoid valves again and this time the voltage was 0. Does anyone have any idea whats going on here? I read it could be bad ground or battery. I do now also have a "C007800 The power supply of component "S9/1(Brakelightswitch)" has undervoltage" fault which I didn't when the voltage to the solenoid was low, not 0. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. RE: ESP/ABS Low voltage solenoid - Oneshot1500 - 06-14-2026 (06-14-2026, 04:02 AM)Efadil22 Wrote: Hi,Check the ground going to the transmission. I have had a few bad ones cause strange voltage issues. RE: ESP/ABS Low voltage solenoid - Efadil22 - 06-15-2026 Thanks. It turned out one of the wires in the wiring loom connecting to ESP module was internally corroded. Fixing that managed to fix it. |
