Ford Transit ABS fault U0401 invalid data from ecu - G256 - 05-29-2015
Hello,
I have a Transit 2010 with ABS fault and ABS light is on:
U0401
-Invalid data received from engine control module/powertrain control module
-faulty signal
-current
I will check the wiring but has anyone ever had the error?

Hi
"U" codes comes if moduls not right comunicate together,so check wireing and ground points.
If are most ground points in the near of pcm.
Put dem back from car body,clear it and put it back to car body.
Check also the pins on Abs modul,fuses and relais in bjb.
Many time it is wather in bjb,so be sure that bjb free from wather.
After them try to update the moduls with newest callibrations data.Use Ford Ids for this job.
Clear dtc's base and see what heppens.

Sourche Ford Etis Software,install it and you have all data what you need .

Is there any DTC in PCM ? Whay diag tool do you use to pick up the DTCs?
Had this problem on Kuga and solved withr new sensor on turbo vane actuator.
