TSA / SLA in W205 - you must drive to activate

1
Here some useful information:

If you have coded the TSA/SLA in C-Class 205, sometimes, you must drive for about 500 Meters. After that, it works. 049
Before i drove, i have got error message in IC (happend with one of two cars).

I have to disappoint you, that's not the right way.
You simply forgot something.

The key is to do a soft reset at the MPC or let car sleep for 10 minutes, no need to drive.

In my experience this is needed on cars with distronic (smpc)

Thanks. I always make hard reset to all ECU who are connected with the coded function.
So, all is ok anyway.
When you drive you can show the System :-)

Is an hardreset not „stronger“ than an softreset??

It has nothing to do how strong it is, it simply does 2 different things. Hardreset is like unplug and plug again, softreset forces the ecu to reload the system on a cleannway, it shuts it down clean and starts again clean. You should always prefer a Softreset before hardreset.
