I’m looking for any Bosch service documentation, repair manuals, schematics, troubleshooting guides, or internal workshop literature related to Bosch diagnostic equipment.

My primary interest is the Bosch MOT 300 and MOT 400 units, but I’m also interested in documentation for related Bosch test equipment such as the KTS series, ETT, KTE-200, MOT 250, MOT 251, MOT 500, and similar vintage Bosch diagnostic systems. Also searching for a Siemens Ultramat 2 abgastester repair manual. I got one defekt, it’s sitting on the shelf waiting for repair as well. 

I’m currently restoring and repairing several Bosch units and trying to build a reference archive before I start reverse-engineering boards and power supplies.

If anyone has manuals, schematics, service bulletins, software archives, parts lists, calibration procedures, or other Bosch documentation they’d be willing to share, trade, or sell, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Even partial documentation or leads to other archives would be extremely helpful.

I hope someone can give me some information about unlocking a Simos PCR 2.1 using PCMFlash and a Scanmatik 2 PRO with bench cable.
Following the instructions provided by PCMFlash (module: 57), I've connected the ECU to the bench cable according to the pinout below, including the two 1 kOhm resistors as shown.

I used the +BATT connection for pin 5 and +VCC for the other 12V supply. I'm able to measure 12 volts when the automatic voltage switch (L-Line) is activated through PCMFlash. Unfortunately, I'm not able to identify the device on the bench, while identifying through OBD works without any problems.

Am I forgetting something? Please let me know.]]>

I am currently working on a Topdon-branded diagnostic interface (based on SmartLink hardware architecture). The unit is experiencing a boot loop and I have performed a diagnosis via UART/TTL to identify the root cause.

However i want to be self-sufficient from now on. I saw different OBD scanner brands with different numbers for sale, but it mostly comes with different applications then DiagZone. Also the price range is enormous for look-alike the same product. Are they compatible with DZ even if its sold with different software?

Facts:
1. i have my diagzone account with password
2. i setup the tablet/phone, install the app, login with the user/pass
3. Can I connect any compatible OBD scanner and i just put there the serial number in options, pair it and use it?

Questions:
1. What OBD scanner can i buy?
2. Where to buy cheapest OBD scanner compatible with DZ?
3. Is it worth it to stay with DZ, when compared to other Diagnostic tools?(considering the fact i need to buy new head)

Your answers are really apperciated, i am also attaching the picture of my current(damaged) OBD scanner.

trying to get my old Kess V2 running on my new computer (win11)

i tried couple of Ksuite etc,  but couldnt get any connection to the Kess, driver not working.

i think it was a 4.036 FW, dont now if upgrade is possible to 5.017.

maybe SD card need to be rewritten or something.
