Hello and good afternoon gentlemen.

Need some help please..

Car is 2014 Chevrolet Spin L2B, 1.5 Gasoline, Manual Transmission. ECU E83

I have this car whose ECM, BCM, Instrument Cluster and Immobilizer Control Module and key were sent to me. The car is far away and non starting (the exact reason why it can't be started is not very clear yet, but according to a friend of mine who have checked it on site it happened after the owner disconnecting the negative side of the battery). So this friend of mine tried to reprogram the keys with his IM508, but failed. He said the pincode provided by his Autel was not accepted. So he scanned the car and found few DTCs appeared on the screen B3060, B3105, B389A, B101E-48, B101E-43, and C0277-48, all from BCM. ECM has fault. So he decided to sent those modules to me.

I wired the modules on bench hoping to re-scan them. I have ignition ON, instrument cluster lit, check engine and immobilizer indicators illuminate and I get 60 Ohm on the CAN Bus. But somehow I couldn't connect to any of the modules except for instrument cluster which utilizes pin 1 of OBD for communication. At first I thought may be the modules are all damaged, but that couldn't be the case since I was given the scan result by my friend. I have wired and re-wired, checked and re-checked my bench setup, and as per the diagram everything looks correct.

I checked 5v output from BCM upon ignition ON, it's there. All the 12v for BCM power sources also present. Ignition Main relay, Engine Ignition Control Relay are all activated, and Fuel Pump Relay does primed for few seconds.. so I think the BCM and ECM are doing their job.

Does anyone familiar with GM here can tell me where I did wrong and why I couldn't get connected to the CAN Bus? I'm quite sure my wiring is fine.

A friend of mine says that connection to the CAN Bus isn't possible without the ABS module. I don't know how true is that as I'm not that often dealing with Chevy.

I have also read 25160 from BCM, dump looks correct, I can see pincode and 2 keys there.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards.

Hello everyone,

I need some help to repair a corrupted dump from an Opel Corsa D (2007) Airbag Unit ref: 13187526.

The ECU is currently locked, and it is impossible to clear the fault codes. The car does NOT have a crash history. The problem started due to a poor connection in an airbag resistor/emulator. While moving the wires, the airbag light flashed repeatedly on the dashboard until it stayed permanently on, locking the unit.

The memory inside is an EEPROM 95160.

I have scanned the unit, and it shows two different B1000 DTCs:

B1000-4C: Fault code memory full.

B1000-39: Electronic Control Unit (ECU) replacement required.

I attach the pictures with the ECU part number/label and the diagnostic screen with the current DTCs. I will also upload the original dump read from the 95160 EEPROM.

Could anyone help me clear or repair this dump to get the ECU working again?

Thanks in advance for your time and help!

Hi All,

I am about to do a transmission swap of a 2019 ZB Commodore - also know as the Opel Insignia \ Buick Regal in other parts of the world...

I've been advised that I will need dealer level scan tool to be able to "handshake" e.g. code the new transmission to the vehicle.

2 Questions -

1: Is the above information true? I've not found anyone yet to tell me otherwise but information is limited about this particular vehicle, especially in Australia.

2: Is it possible to swap over the electronics from the old transmission to the new transmission and avoid the above?

link to gearbox i'll be doing swap in... https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/336477237022

All and any help, is as always, appreciated!
Samochód odpala, ale nie za każdym razem, ale rozrusznik się kręci. Wystarczy go ponownie uruchomić i odpala.
Wymieniono ECU, Evap, czujnik pedału sprzęgła, czujniki temperatury płynu chłodzącego i odłączono instalację LPG.
