I did get banned for using a clone tool at one point but after a chat to helpdesk they unlocked my account even after giving them a NZ area code for call back lol
They region blocked NZ ??? That was part of the Holden network and should not have been blocked as it is considered part of the Australian network for GM.
Yeah its been region blocked for as long as I have been using it. We dont have right to repair laws here so everything is locked down to dealer only from pretty much every brand, even service info.
I think you will find SPS has unblocked NZ since Holden went out of business because I know other people using it in NZ and never been banned.

That is interesting.
I know they are running Cloudflare warp which is free and WAN DNS 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 which bypasses a lot of crap so I wonder if that is why.
If you have ever given me a Negative or Neutral reputation then do not ask me for help or passwords as you will be ignored!

Yeah i dont know about any of that, but there must be a link that does redirect or work from NZ for the dealers to use as I cant see them manually adding ip exceptions for each dealer as it would take a lot of time and most places probably have dynamic ips not static

Thanks again Tek for this utility file, I have made some attempts to build an archive with DPS and program a cluster but DPS always returns an error. Im using the calibration files located at this repository https://github.com/vampperformance/cals/tree/main
Do you or anyone have an opinion on what my be the trouble? I should point out that I program clusters on my bench if that is a problem. I have a BCM wired in as well.
You are missing one file based on your PM and that is 15816943.bin which is not in that archive.
You have the utility file now and the last 2 files but you need that one to complete the DPS archive
Let me post the Program log when I atttempt to program with this Utility file, maybe somone will have some insights. Cheers.

Second is you said your programming ipcs? Those vxdiags dont work on any module that is class 2/swcan/low speed can and most older gm ipcs before say 2012 are class 2

Because they use the same serial number as the mdi clones that will get you banned from tlc.

Hello thanks for you reply, I never made any attempt to run techline, I didnt even have a chance to enter a VIN in my subscriptions area. I would have thought the VXDIAG interface is an approve aftermarket device? I've read that using J2534 pass-through ONLY will be safe? I'm testing DPS with 07-09 clusters on the GMLAN protocol. DPS works normally, it works and pulls module info from the IPCS and just for fun I ran the MEC to zero archive which completed successfully.
Cheers

Well did you find the missing file or are you trying to program with an incomplete archive?
If the archive is incomplete then you are wasting your time as it will never work!

Hey Zooper, I have a known good MCU dump from a youtuber which was taken from a 2007 cluster using a jlink adapter through the Jtag connection on the actual circuit board. I tried building the missing 15816943 archive with the appropriate blocks from this dump file, created the archive with this missing block plus the calibration bins from the repository along with the utility file given from Tek earlier. Every attempt with or without a complete archive returns the error posted earlier. Im giving up for now with this project, thanks for your interest and help.
Cheers

I doubt you built the file correctly and no offence intended but it has to not only be the correct size it has to have the correct checksum for DPS to use.
