Alfa Obd- Reset BCM/VIN Write error

Hi Team,
I tried to use alfaOBD to write the VIN and program the bcm on a Chrysler pacifica 2019.

When I tried to write the vin I get the below issue.

Failed. The ECU has detected that the request contains parameter(s) with value(s) outside allowable range.

Please let me know what can cause this?

Yes I did. Bought the bypass module and installed it as well. Again just wanted to mention I am trying to write the vin to a used bcm I bought from eBay.

I was able to rewrite vin but could not restore the Configuration even though i was able to backup the original bcm. I have a bcm from Dodge ram to use on the CHallenger

you need to reset the bcm with cda6 to clear the vin and security then write vin with other tool and relearn security i belive the is how you do it

Yeah, it just depends on which tool you use. I know a think diag won't do it. I'm helping my buddies autel will. But yeah I know you have to do an engineering configuration reset and then configure and write the VIN and it should actually give you an error message but it should still work. But any tricks you have like? Any tips that you could give on doing this type of stuff would be very helpful
