I have a headbanging problem with that car.
A4 B8 avant, water got into the active steering module and totally destroyed it. Found a replacement part with the latest part number 8K0907144E.
Audi doesn't provide an SVM code for this module in etka per the dealer staff, we tried cheating and providing the svm xchange code XCHG1BA001 but the server still wont accept the part for coding. Any option out of this beside getting a new module ?

After the change code entry odis flashed the central electric, then the test plan got stuck at the active steering coding... It would attempt to code it then ask to cycle the key over and over.
vin is WAUVF68KX9A105971

according to the vin number, this should be the right partnumber. make sure the module isn't flashed before (check if it shows the same part number on diagnosis)

It was flashed for sure before, It is latest firmware is revision F that audi pushed around 2014. I think all used modules are gonna be that revision.

It does not work like that. Flash it to E and svm will pick it up.
