Help with Zafira and PEPS module.

1
Hello guys. I am working on a Zafira B and it's driving me nuts Headbang. Maybe i can find some answers from Opel/Vauxhall experts on this great forum.

It is a 2006 Opel/Vauxhall Zafira and it has a Keyless entry system (with PEPS module) and it had problems with the steering angle sensor. I could not get the SAS programmed. The steering angle sensor is integrated in the CIM module. I purchased a second-hand CIM and got to program the module.

I reset the old module, plugged in the second hand one and with Tech2Win followed the procedure for the programming. I got requested the PIN for the CIM, typed it in and it accepted the code. After all the can configurations and vehicle variants set up the procedure started to configure the IMMO system. And this is where the things got f*cked. It tried to connect to the PEPS module and used the PIN that i entered for the second hand CIM.

Long story short the PEPS module is now in Security Wait Time (10 min.). The problem is that PEPS is in charge of ignition. With no ignition you can't start the Security Wait Time countdown. I tried to simulate ignition, got a ignition lock with physical key but nothing worked.

Anyone of you have any ideas on what to do next?

In my humble experience:

A virgin / reset CIM would turn ignition on. Once I had an Astra H PEPS that the steering lock failed and blocked ignition on. I got another set of CIM / ESL and reset it in the donor vehicle before removal. After that, installed it onto the car, and followed the procedure in Tech2
