Stage 1 Exhaust temperature over 900 degree problem

1
Hello,
I have the following problem:
I had a Stage 1 tune with SCR deactivated on my Mercedes-Benz G350d (245 hp, 2017 model). The car drives great. However, the check engine light came on at 158 km/h.
The error code is P2080FA. The exhaust temperature rose to over 900 degrees Celsius, and the car went into limp mode. Unfortunately, the diesel particulate filter (DPF) has to remain installed because, due to the Euro 6 emissions standard in Germany, a particulate test is performed during the mandatory vehicle inspection, which it would fail.
Xentry shows a DPF fill level of 58% and a particle count of 3.75 grams. My question is whether the problem is due to the purchased software optimization or, as the tuner suspects, to the DPF itself, which needs to be removed. Unfortunately, I lack the expertise to assess this. Thank you for your time and help.

Best regards, Marcel

Unfortunately, the DPF has to stay in because, due to the Euro 6 emissions standard in Germany, a particulate test is performed during the mandatory vehicle inspection, and it wouldn't pass.
Xentry shows the DPF is at 58% full and has a particulate count of 3.75 grams. My question is whether the problem might be with the purchased tune or, as the tuner suggested, with the DPF itself, which needs to be removed. I'm afraid I don't have the expertise to assess this.
Thanks for you're Time and help

I dont have file that is close to ur, so adding a stock file to ur post will easy the proccess for us.
Anyway, tunes rises the temp, this isnt a secret, we ask from car to burn more and it has some effects.
As far as i know this car, this 3 litter engine is strong, but going over 900 degree on 160 km\h is too much, cheating it or deleting this error may cause engine dmg.
Doing stage with DPF on IS STUPID, but alot do and all fine so DPF is half of the problem.
I sugest to you to lower fuel amount or adding some air if possible, this will lower the temp, and make logs, maybe ur temp sensor is faulty and it is showing to high temp when it isnt. Good luck!

stage ain`t calibrated well, however you can always log with stock file and see that is tuning related... better calibration should fix the issue and dpf can remain functional when properly made..

Check the tune... Your problem is low lambdas (to much diesel o not enought Air) , retarded SOI, overfuelling...

Only from the post, without look into file, i can assume: Yep, another incompetent remap.

There are several issues in this file. Most notably, the boost pressure setpoint (PCR_pDesBas_MAP) and the corresponding limit (PCR_pDesRawLim_CUR) have not been adjusted.

Hello, I would start with a proper diagnosis. I would check the values at different temperature ranges and the temperature sensors. Perhaps the ECU is stuck in a permanent regeneration pattern. Check if the engine oil is contaminated and if the level hasn't increased.
It could also be a partial SCR issue.
Otherwise, flash the original file and check the values. Good luck.
merci + réputation si j'ai eu une idée
