1
Hello.
Is possible Full system read and write Gm delco E87? I need modify eeprom virtual for match immobiliser.
I've read that there are problems with write due to the file size.
Has anyone tested this successfully this ECU delco e87.
Best regards

All good. I did yesterday E87 with KT200, read flash+eeprom.

Also just a hint, you can work on this car/ecu completely via OBD, just in KT200 menu choose FullSystem driver (not need to remove ecu from the car).
If I helped you, press Thanks & Rep+ buttons.

Did you read as Backup and write as Complete?
You modified eeprom or flash?
Whether the checksum was calculated by kt200?
Thanks for interesting

There is no option for backup/complete, but you have to choose Flash or Eeprom.

Checksum for flash is calculated by kt200, for eeprom no.

I have option do chose FLASH EEPROM BACKUP.
No have write this option. Only write complete.
I read that if I write the wrong file size it can damage the ECU
That's why I'm asking if you programmed flash, eeprom or full

BACKUP is full flash and eeprom combined
Program doesnt calculate the checksum on backup files......they are used for full ecu cloning

(ecus without mcu password that are clonable)

I understand what ECU cloning means and that's why it doesn't calculate the checksum of the entire BACKUP.
My question is what to do if I only want to save the eeprom?
I have the option of reading the eeprom itself but not for writing.
Should I modify the eeprom in the entire backup and write the complete one?

Just write them one by one, first select flash, then write, when writing it will ask you this is flash and you confirm, then open eeprom click write, then it will ask you writing eeprom? And you click yes..
