I want convert a KTS 650 to Piwis.
Could you tell me where I could buy a HDD version Piwis V34.

Which cable do we need for piwis? Only special Bosch for Porsche?
And is it possible to go back to ESI-tronic just using another HDD or we have to do the same steps but in clockwise?

Hi, you need a Porsche Cable for this, Porsche have other Pin Numbers, look by Ebay for a cable .... the Price is up to 50 € .... not so much as a original from Bosch or Porsche.

I think with the new Esitonic version it is not easy for dual work, problem is changing the Firmware.

Last Year i want make it to, but withe my Kts650 withe a new Main-board i have to much problems :-(

Yes, I remember about that cable. Found the number: 1684465504
It should cost a little.
Firmware is surely not an easy task. And maybe we'll decide to leave only piwis.

Keep in mind that there are more (3?) hardware revisions of the kts650 mainboard. Afaik you can only convert the oldest one (originally with windows me, celeron and 265mb ram or so).

Yes ..... it is for Piwis, you can use it with 520,550 and 650

Does anyone know the pinout for the PIWIS OBD cable? I would like to build one. It is possible, right?
