Transponder Programming

1
Hi guys, I programmed a transponder key to a Zafira using my tech2. It asked me to get approval from Tis before proceeding which i did and it then said... "enabled security access type 3". Then it worked.

My question is, Do i now have to do this each time i carry out procedures on security systems or is that now enabled for good?

Many thanks in advanced

In your Tech2 & in your PCMCIA Card, now you have "Stored" 2 more attempts for ANY Security Job that you will make! Wink

And YES after 3 using attempts you need to make again the SAME Procedure! Listen

GM "Rules" my friend! Smile

old topic but (maybe) interesting info:
Buy an op-com/opel scanner. They are quite cheap (opel scanner is ~400 EUR) and they allow normal programming (activation/deactivation of features, reset/install of electronic modules, sensors calibration, transponder programming) without the Tech2 restrictions (getting TIS approval). You will need a computer/laptop (these interfaces are not standalone, like Tech2) but you get certain advantages....
