WIS standalone start key not saving - Pffiukas - 05-25-2026
Morning ,
WIS just stopped working. Tried uninstalling wis and the config tool. Attached video.

Your lic_key_2.dat file is locked to edits + some patches making the own backup of this file and make copy back and forward, I faced similar issue. Since the WIS key is saved in the same file, you need to unlock the edit, load your WIS key and lock again.

check C:\ProgramData\LicDir\ or older c:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application data\licdir\
