Instruction:

1. We insert the card into the computer, format it in FAT32.
   
2. We find out the serial number of the SD card. USB readers are categorically not suitable for reading. To do this, insert it into the phone, download something from the SD-booster series, write down the number. Generate the key using GenFordKey.exe. To do this, enter the serial number, put the label "type of number - hexadecimal", we throw the resulting file into the root of the card. There is also a FordActivator program - the latter generally immediately creates the SdCard.key file on the inserted Sd-card by its number.
   
3. Unpack the downloaded archive with maps to the root of the map.
   
4. We insert the card into the slot in the car. If the key is not generated correctly, an error message will appear at startup.
   
5. The next time you replace the archive of cards on the same flash drive, we use the same SdCard.Key file.

Thank you for your write up and maps. I'd just like to share a lesson I learnt this weekend. One of the files in extracted rar is actually larger than 4 GB. This is an issue for FAT32. I tried formatting the card to exFAT instead and everything works ok. Some people even reported that their Sync 2 Nav is bit faster in response compared to FAT32 formatted card. I can't judge myself as I have no other system to compare with but I can confirm that Sync2 with exFAT formatted SD card worked ok.

Here’s some notes on how I got the F11 card to work, shared and in case I ever have to do it again.

As Aleksey-MS notes you need the serial of the SD card you are using. You cannot use a usb card reader for this. You need something that accesses the card directly. Aleksey-MS suggests an Android mobile but as I was working with a full sized SD card this was not possible. I had an old Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop that had a built in SD card reader but it was running W98 that could not retrieve the serial. I booted it from a Knoppix live CD and in /sys/block/device/mmcblk1/ I found both the CID which has to be decoded to get the serial but also a separate file with the serial in, starting 0x. I used this serial, including the 0x in genfordkey to get a valid sdcard.key file. As I don’t have the correct fonts installed genfordkey just shows a lot of ?’s but apparently the first option is autodetect if the entered serial is hex or decimal, the second is number is hex and the third number is decimal.
