Hello all. I have the usual problem with DocBackup. Error on start and won't run. I uninstalled DocBackup and Sedre in Windows 8.1 64Bit and now it won't reinstall at all. I try to run "setup" and it won't continue. I have cleaned all traces of DocBackup and Sedre from the Registry but still nothing! In older versions it was advised to stop PSA Agent but I cannot find PSA Agent in Windows 8.1 Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, James

Here is Peugeot Service Box (DocBackup + Sedre) (11.2013).

SIZE: 12,4 GB

DVD 1 = 7.52 GB
DVD 2 = 800 MB
DVD 3 = 4.09 GB

Archive include FIX + INSTRUCTIONS !

Hi TestPoint,
I have installed it all on my 32bit Windows7 machine, The installation worked great no error, your instructions are great and the sequence worked fine for me.
My problem now is with Sedre, I can open it on the latest Firefox browser and see some of the diagrams, but on others I get this error:

XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: http://127.0.0.1:6092/Sdr/svgLoader?r_code_image=T5&r_resource=e7c00019.svgz
Line Number 1, Column 1:

Looking around it seems to be a problem with the .svgz files. Did you or anybody else found a solution for this?
Also I am interested in your machine/OS/browser setup, I do have other machines running XP and if you think that is the solution I will do a new installation.

Thank you.
Best Regards
Luis

Hi All,
just thought I would give an update on my installation, Finally manage to get it working on my Windows 7 32bit machine.
I followed the original instructions and Sedre installed and run on the background, unfortunately it would not open the window in the browser (Firefox in this case). Looked around the forum and found this post:

http://mhhauto.com/Thread-Sedre-diagrams...ight=sedre

I followed the instructions and modified the files and placed the required files in the folders, make sure you follow the instruction precisely or like I did at the beginning it still will not work. So this allows the viewing of the pesky .GSVZ files. At this point if you previously could get Sedre to open a window in the browser, you are done, but if like me you can't get it to open the window, see this post:

http://mhhauto.com/Thread-Patch-For-Wiri...ight=sedre

Download the patch and install, this will create a sort of shortcut on your desktop that will open the window on your default browser.
Remember, You still need to start Sedre first before opening the window.

As with everything this worked for me, it may not work for you, but if you are stuck it may be worth a shoot.

Hope this helps.
Best Regards
L
