Porsche PIWIS / PIDT3 for VAS6154 / J2534 (Unavaiable)

After trying 2 different new external 1Tb SSDs, I finally got this to download successfully direct onto my hard drive. This installation failed with D: sizes of 60G and 100G, but finally worked when I set D: to 150Gb. In the end it looks like its using just over 100Gig. Setting the drive to 105 Gb, for ex, should be fine.

I installed VAS6154 driver 2.0.12.100 that came with this download. It installed under C: Windows/ProgramFiles (x86)/Volkswagen/VAS6154 Driver.

When I plug my VAS6154 into the USB port it doesn't show up as an external device. Under Device Manager I see a warning symbol (!) and it tells me that drivers are not installed and the device cannot be recognized. When I try to select the driver above, nothing happens. How do I fix this?

Also, when I launch PIWIS, I get this screen.  On google I see that there should be a menu with a VCI manager, but that's nowhere to be seen.  Is this PIWIS even correct!?

   

Listen friend when you write VAS6154 do you mean Genuine or a clone, because a clone will not work.
if if gen. then fix your device 2nd this is no Piwis, read 1st post

Hi Magic, I don't understand why you say it is not Piwis. In 1st post is says PIWIS 3. In the simulation mode it seems to be able to read the OBD functions which is primarily what I need.

My VAS6154 is off AliExpress, so a clone I understand. I was pointed to this software to get PIWIS 3 using this device, and this is the first I've heard that it will not work with a clone after reading the entire thread several times. In this case, where CAN I find PIWIS 3 for a clone VAS6154?
