Firmware 2.21.32 scanmatic clone

Hi folks.
So maybe I will reveal an issue that might tell something yet still looking for an answer.
I know only there two clones of SM2 Pro:  

on the left SM2 Pro  and  SM2 Pro+ (with plus) on the right. Both are HW version 2.21.22.
The +(plus) version has a K-Line on pin#7 which apparently the one left has not (or it is on pin #3)

So for which one of these two - the firmware attached here might work ??

K-Line is simulated on pin #3 - just make solder bridge between 3 and 7.

Since this is quit recent, is the serial blocked or would it be possible to use the official update to go to 2.21.35?

Tried the update, but the serial is also blocked.
Editing the serial with a random serial @ 0x00000180 returns: internal firmware error 5F778000
editing the serial with a known good serial @ 0x00000180 returns: internal firmware error 53002800

so there must be some hashing/checking going on.
i'll continue reversing the FW and driver.

if only there was a dump for the same version with different serial. Lets crack this thing open and stop relying on Chinese dumps..

I understand that, what I meant was if i upgrade my black sm2pro,  I will also need to bridge pins 3-7 for kline based comms to work?
