Mercedes EPC & WIS [Discussions/Problems]

Good afternoon all
Installed WIS 10_2020 on a new Win 10 Pro 64bit laptop that does not have IE Explorer or XDOS.
I located Admin in Chrome and was able to install a key which enabled me to install the database.
I also located the EWA Start Chrome icon but when I click it says unable to connect to local host 9000 check cables and or firewall settings and or proxy settings
What am I missing.

Thanks for the reply and offer to assist. I have new information that may help. There is a new error message-----HTTP Error 404 requested resource is not found. Please note that I have not installed java because wis docs indicate there is no longer support and therefore suggested open web start which i did install and was working well on a previous WIN 7 32bit laptop,but the hard drive failed and now working on WIN 10 64bit Dell and WIS installed without install issues,but cant open.
Hope this helps. Your advice will be appreciated.

Certain person that I paid for installing and troubleshooting is refusing to fix it. He is a member here. I hope you see it and get back to me.
From time to time. EPC and WIS stops working. Randomly. After several days it starts to work again. 
can anyone fix this for me?

Unfortunately my EPC PC crashed and I had to reinstall the EPC-2018 to another PC.

While installing the EPC database, it is prompting for a CD while it is testing the EPC database.

Appreciate if anyone have any insights on this on where i may have gone wrong during the install or if its due to some PC security blocks which i need to disable.
