Porsche Piwis - KTS 650

Hi, one cuestion about cable:
Is there any electronic in the cable or wires goes directly to the OBD connector? In some BOSCH cable have some resistor to identify cable, is there any resistor?

2.2 kOhm between 18 and 26 pins
OBD case have inside pcb only for programming.
For diagnostic and coding do not need anything.

Do you know something about chinese cable, are they have a working pcb in them?

if its not working version - you need to repair hardware it first at special service, it is not easy goal but possible, then reprogram ICs to bosch not porsche, then clean full install of esi including bios. if it working - omit repair.

I have a problem with the installation of piwis v34 downloaded here from the forum.
I installed the piwis on a 650 kts I followed the instructions for the firmware, but I only feature the 911 (997) and for the cayenne while for all other car does not start or the diagnosis or tells me only demo mode!
someone has already happened?

kts650 is NOT a piwis. you need to change internal firmware in special service. not only software that you installed is needed.

Piwis runs perfect on KTS 650. You have to make an Firmware Update from the internalk KTS 550 thats all.
I use KTS 650 with V 34 CF 29 with V32 and CF 30 with V15.100 all Systems works perfect.

I have a KTS 650... how can I install PIWIS?
