Which latop for car diagnostics?

Which other laptop can you recommend? It should be purely for car diagnostics for Mercedes Xentry, BMW ISTA, Kessv3, USW. I currently have a Lenovo T420 but the battery is causing problems and so is the new battery, can I also use a T470?Thx

Depends on conditions where you will be using laptop and what software. For me best options are Panasonic Toughbook CF 54 MK2-3 or Lenovo Thinkpad T480(2 batteries, two slots DDR4 for 64Gb max, SSD).

I bought it yesterday Getac f110 used for 150$, now I'm waiting for delivery, almost all my colleagues work with similar devices

I use Microsoft Surface 5 Laptop with i7-16gb ram-512gb m2 (very good battery)

I use Panasonic FZ-G1 with 12 -24 V for cars & trucks charger nerver fail me down

I had a job supplied Lenovo thinkpad t14 I don’t remember the spec but I used it everyday for over 2 years.  That was a very good laptop.  I own a eBay refurbished Panasonic toughbook CF-53.  I also have a refurbished CF-52 I bought many years ago and it still works great.  I like the refurbished toughbooks for the price and they can survive the shop environment daily use

i use lenovos since years and they working very good. main unit now are a t470s i7 24gb and 1tb ssd. enough power and a lot of connectors for a reasonable price.......

How are the batteries and how long do they last?Thx
