New images, new fresh install and it went through. Not sure what the deal is here.

i think you downloaded the dvd epc with file type is folder, right?
please make file folder with iso file, then install with file iso

Correct. It was just folders. I did say that I created ISO files but it still didn't work.

I try different methods to make active Datacard in epc and wis but I did not succeed.
There is someone so kind to help me with the startkeys for epc\wis that activate also Datacard (I want Datacard for WIS more than for EPC, but for both is better)?
In this moment my ewa is functional except Datacard so other keys without Datacard are useless for me.

Im using a T60 without any problems. I suggest a SSD though to compensate for the slightly slower CPU compared to more modern laptops.

Dear All,

I have a problem and need your help. After installed EPC 2015-06 and re-boot, there has a message pop-up said "Cannot start service from the command line or a debugger. A windows service must frist be be installed (using installutil.exe) and then started with the ServerExplorer, Windows Services Administrative tool or the NET START command." Also, SD Connect toolkit is disappeared. What can I do? Is there any solution?

There is always more to the story than I just did xyz. By just installing or updating EPC, SD Toolkit won't disappear. My recommendation: format and start from scratch. If your system is that sketchy who knows what else is not properly working. And troubleshooting might take more time than reinstalling everything.
