Mercedes EPC & WIS [Discussions/Problems]

hi dears..

i used different key gens for wis standalone..when i launch Sdwitch in wis 7/2014 it says licence key error..i installed it successfully as EWA..but i failed to setup as standalone because of no progress after that licence key error.

Remember that with WIS standalone you need to have a DAS Xentry version installed and your desktop must be setup correctly and as you say you must have the standalone keys installed----very different from the EWA NET installation.

all wt y mentioned dear is done correctly and the difference is understood clearly But still i can't setup standalone because of licence error..i tried many key gens provided here with no success in spite that it has been saved correctly in start-key and it is valid!

but the desktop issue is not clear for me..

i know this installation very basic.. Then i want try for help you

but my step really helpfull..

before i have question for you..

You installing EPC first or Wis standalone ?

because at xentry procedure.. if you want install epc and wis standalone..

first install is wis standalone and then epc...

if you install epc first, Wis standalone can't running..

my step :
1. clean your ewa net (ewacleantools)
2. Clean your Key wis ( open file Lic_Key.dat with wordpad location at c:\Documents and settings\all users\application data\licdir )
3. reboot.
4. start again, input key wis and run wis standalone..
5. install ewanet EPC
6. done.

Hello together,

i have a little problem too..
Have downloaded the Xentry/DAS/EPC/Image 7.2014 for a Dell and switched successfull to a "good Hardware" - Fujitsu D9510 with enabled AHCI and SSD (makes fun!) - insert drivers, delete the old one etc. everything no problem since i am deploying the Windows-Images for our company.

But the WIS never worked and in the Serverlog i always get java framework errors. If i remove java runtime and install it again, the WIS will work so long as i doesnt reboot the system - so its not a good solution. So i have remove the complete Ewa/WIS standalone, and wanted to install it again, for example the 9.2014 Version, but i always get a error on step 3/18 "jre install" - "Internal error" "Runtime error 429" "ActiveX cant create object".

Have you see it this again?! Anyone an idea?!
The system is clean, Error log is fine, everything looks fine from the Windows aspect.

Hi everybody, i have "succesfuly" instaled WIS/ASRA EWA-NET Full, everything appears to be ok, but when i click on the WIS button nothing happens, internet explorer opens a blank page, but not the application. EPC runs fine.

Any help is fully appreciated.

I beleive is something about the server

your star is blocking any insulation on your system AND THAT IS THE PROBLEM

SO

go to regedit > my computer > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE

FIND "STAR DIAGNOSE" AND CHANGE IT TO "STAR DIAGNOSIS"

REINSTALL IT AGAIN

THEN CNANGE BACK "STAR DIAGNOSIS" TO "STAR DIAGNOSE"

INFORM ME WITH THE RESULT

ENJOY

Tryed the fix but not working
Uninstalled wis data base changed Registry reinstalled database, changed the name back but not working still

EPC is running, but wis shows blank page when i click on the icon in ewa net. any way around. all security settings changed to low medium

Or i must reinstall whole system and then make stand alone wis + ewa net EPC

It's a problem of ewanet server (tomcat7.exe)!!!

Try open admintool, and restart your server, if u get an error massage, reinstall all of ewanet!!!

I read here that useing the ewa clen tool you can uninstal EWA and than install stand alone + EWA/EPC - this is the way i am going now hope that it will work.
This was the first time when i choose to instal wis in ewanet, and i think it is the last time aswell
